Privacy Policy

Our accounting office has separate obligations, both as subcontractor and as the party responsible for processing the personal data you have entrusted to us, for the use of our services and for safeguarding the data stored in our IT infrastructure as well as that of our own subcontractors.

The entire MDS team is committed to the following: 

• the collection of only the information that is strictly necessary in order to render the services requested
• only sharing your personal data with third parties within the framework of carrying out legal obligations
• protecting and processing your personal data with a higher level of security than that required by the GDPR
• only using your personal data to carry out the accounting, tax, legal and social orders you have entrusted to us
• detecting and combating all forms of fraud in the event of an abuse of power regarding your identity, using incorrect information

The role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) at MDS is filled by Stéphane Moriaux, Managing & Ethics Partner, who guarantees the conformity of the accounting office’s activities when it comes to data processing.
He has the necessary means to carry out his role without a conflict of interests with regard to the obligations and practices which MDS must apply to the protection of personal data.

We process and store personal data only for the time required to achieve the purpose of our order or within the legal time limits applicable to the storage of documents.

If the order should be discontinued, all data in our possession will be transferred both to the client and to the party taking over the project; such data will no longer be used for any processing at MDS.
For safety reasons, they will still be archived for a period of 12 months before being destroyed.
This period may be shortened by sending a simple request to the DPO.
